Enabling Bluetooth on Your Phone & Establishing Connectivity

Switch your cell phone on and go to “Menu” and then “Options” . Under “Options” look for “Bluetooth” connectivity, and then turn it on. These options may vary from phone to phone but the “Bluetooth” option is normally under either “Options” or “Connectivity”.

Next, you’ll see a speech button on the steering, press and release it. This button shows a picture of a face and three lines are seen coming out of it which indicates speech; after this, wait till a beep comes over the audio system.

After hearing the beep say “Set-up” , then say ” Pairing Options” and finally say ” Pair” to connect the Outlander and the Bluetooth enabled cell phone. Enter a four digit pin number which relates your Outlander to your cell phone. “0000″ can be used as a Pin since the Pin is to be used only one while pairing.
